Mrs Jessica Richards 

Mr Mark Mitchell

HEADTEACHER

Jess Richards is very proud to be the Headteacher of Northside Primary School. She carried out her teaching qualifications in the United Kingdom and has been teaching for the past 17 years, predominately in International schools. She began her career in London, then taught in Morocco, before moving to Botswana in 2004. She is a passionate educator who is forever grateful that she found her calling and loves working in this dynamic and progressive school.

DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Mark joined Northside in 2017 as a Standard 7 teacher specialising in Mathematics. He studied and obtained his degree in South Africa where he taught upper primary school students. His passions include technology, sport and the outdoors.

Mrs Bev Dunlop Jones

HEAD OF STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

Beverley Dunlop-Jones is an experienced and passionate Special Needs Educator who keeps current in her field.  She studied in South Africa where she commenced her teaching career prior to moving to Botswana.  She has worked at Northside for over 30 years and been a member of the Leadership Team for more than 20 years.

Mrs Joanna Laverick

PYP COORDINATOR

Joanna has been at Northside for ten years. She taught Standard 1 and 4. Currently, Joanna is our PYP Coordinator. Prior to NPS she taught in an international school in Norway, where she taught both PYP and MYP. She holds a Masters of Arts in Education (Leadership and Management) and is an IB workshop leader.

Mrs Sian Noble

HEAD OF EARLY YEARS

Sian Noble has been a devoted teacher at Northside School since 2010. Sian‘s teaching experience spans numerous grade levels, including Reception, Standard 1, Standard 2, and Standard 4, and she has developed her talents in offering a well-rounded education to students at various stages of their academic journey. Sian is the current Head of our Early Years department, where she has the opportunity to work with a creative and compassionate team of teachers as well as connect with all students.

Mrs Sanne Watson

HEAD OF STUDENT & COMMUNITY LIFE 

Sanne has been at Northside for seven years. She taught Standard 5 and 6. Currently, Sanne is our Head of Student and Community Life. She is responsible for coordinating our co-curricular programme and oversees school trips. Sanne is also involved in policy making and marketing the school. Sanne did her training in the Netherlands and holds a bachelor degree in Education.
